Steps
- Cream the shortening, butter and sugar.
- Add egg & egg yolk. Then add vanilla.
- Sift flour and salt together.
- Add flour mixture to butter mixture.
- Roll into 1 inch balls, dip in egg white mixed with water. Roll in crushed nuts.
- Press indent into middle of cookie. Fill with ½ tsp of raspberry jam.
- Bake @ 350 for 10-12 minutes
