Ingredients 1/4 cup butter 5 large gala apples; peeled, cored, sliced 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 cup brown sugar; packed light 1 tsp lemon juice 2 tbsp cornstarch 1/4 cup cold water 1 tbsp vanilla
Steps Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Bring to simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook 15 minutes or until apples and tender. Dissolve cornstarch in water. Stir into apples. Cook 1-2 minutes until thickened. Add vanilla.
